Intended Use of 2019 CDBG Funds - Hearing 11/13/2019

PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE OF INTENDED USE OF 2019

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS

 

Residents of Warren County are hereby informed that the Warren County Commissioners propose to allocate $241,490, to be received under the Commonwealth’s 2019 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, as follows:

 

$  23,623     H/C Access to North Warren Community House

27,000     Water Service Line Replacements for Eligible Households in Pine Grove Township

88,320     Center Street Reconstruction, Bear Lake Borough

59,547     Demolition of Blighted Structure at 1 E. Main St, Youngsville Borough

43,000     CDBG Program Administration

 

The Warren County Commissioners will receive public comments, prior to their regularly scheduled public meeting at noon, on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in the Jackson Courtroom, located on the 2nd floor of the Warren County Courthouse located at 204 Fourth Avenue, Warren, PA. The public is invited to attend this meeting to remark on these proposed CDBG funded activities.  The County Courthouse building is fully accessible to persons with disabilities.  Those with questions regarding this application should contact Lorri Dunlap, Grants Administrator at 814-728-3516 during normal business hours.  Further, the public is invited to inspect the County’s CDBG application and to make comment upon it until November 12, 2019, in the Planning and Zoning Office, located in the basement of the Courthouse.

The Warren County Commissioners will subsequently consider approval of the submission of the FFY 2019 CDBG application, considering, public comments.
